PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: 9 March 2026
Jabbary Law PLLC (“Jabbary Law,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”). This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website (the “Site”), subscribe to receive our publications, or communicate with us online.
This Policy is a website privacy notice. It does not address information collected and maintained in the course of an attorney–client relationship, which is governed by applicable professional obligations and engagement terms.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to information we collect:
through the Site;
when you submit information through our contact forms;
when you subscribe to receive our publications or alerts; and
through related electronic communications between you and Jabbary Law, such as emails initiated through the Site.
This Policy does not apply to information collected by third parties through websites, applications, or services that may link to or be accessible from the Site. Please review those third parties’ privacy practices separately.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 Information You Provide
We collect information you choose to provide, including:
Contact and professional information: name, company or organization, email address, and telephone number.
Communications: the content of your message and any other information you provide when you contact or correspond with us.
Subscription information: your email address (and any optional information you provide) when you subscribe to our publications.
Important — confidentiality and intake: Please do not submit confidential, time-sensitive, or sensitive personal information through the Site or by email unless and until we have confirmed that Jabbary Law can represent you (including completing conflicts checks) and you have received written confirmation of engagement.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity, including:
IP address and general location (e.g., city and state);
browser type, settings, and device characteristics;
pages viewed, time spent, and referring or exit pages; and
similar usage and performance data.
This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies as described below.
3. COOKIES, TRACKING, & SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
3.1 How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
operate and secure the Site;
support performance and reliability, including via content delivery and security services;
understand how visitors use the Site; and
improve Site functionality and content.
3.2 Your Choices; Cookie Consent
We use Squarespace’s cookie consent tools. Depending on your location and applicable settings, certain non-essential cookies may be restricted until you set your preferences through the cookie banner. You may also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain Site functionality.
3.3 Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand Site traffic and improve the Site. We configure Google Analytics data retention settings consistent with our retention practices; Google describes available retention settings in its documentation.
We do not use the Site for targeted advertising or retargeting, and we do not knowingly deploy advertising pixels for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3.4 Do Not Track; Third-Party Tracking
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signal. Because there is no uniform industry standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals, and due to the differing application of those standards with different web browser and website hosts, our Site may not respond to DNT signals.
Third parties that provide content, functionality, analytics, or security services — including our hosting and performance providers — may use cookies or similar technologies that collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services.
4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We may use the information described above to:
respond to inquiries and communicate with you;
evaluate and administer potential engagements, including conflicts checks;
send publications or alerts you request or opt into, and administer opt-outs;
operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents, fraud, or misuse; and
comply with applicable law, legal process, and professional obligations.
5. HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We may share information with vendors that help us operate the Site and our communications, including:
Squarespace (website platform, hosting, and Site features);
Cloudflare (security and performance); and
Clio (practice management and workflow), where communications are processed or stored as part of firm operations.
We engage vendors to perform services on our behalf and expect them to handle information consistent with applicable obligations.
5.2 Legal and Compliance
We may disclose information as necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Jabbary Law, Site visitors, or others.
5.3 Business Transfers
If we are involved in a business transaction — such as a restructuring or transfer of assets — information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
6. DATA SECURITY
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we maintain. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Email communications may not be secure; please consider carefully what information you send through the Site or via email.
7. DATA RETENTION
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining records of communications and conflicts checks, complying with legal and professional obligations, and maintaining Site security and integrity.
General retention periods:
Contact form inquiries that do not become client matters: typically up to 24 months, unless longer retention is reasonably required for conflicts documentation, dispute prevention, legal obligations, or security purposes.
Newsletter subscription records: retained until you unsubscribe. Following unsubscription, we may retain limited information (such as suppression records) for up to 24 months to honor opt-outs and maintain compliance.
Website analytics: retained according to our configuration and Google Analytics retention settings, as described in Google’s documentation.
8. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. VISITORS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES
The Site is operated in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
Where European data protection laws apply, we process personal data only where we have an appropriate lawful basis — such as legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site and responding to inquiries, or consent where required for certain cookies or subscriptions. Individuals subject to European data protection laws may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing, among other rights. To submit a request, contact us as described below.
10. U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have rights to:
request access to certain personal information we maintain about you;
request correction of inaccurate personal information; and
request deletion of certain personal information.
To submit a request, email info@jabbarylaw.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond as required by applicable law.
11. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY NOTICE (CCPA/CPRA)
This section provides additional disclosures for California residents consistent with the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA/CPRA”).
11.1 Categories of Personal Information We Collect
In the prior 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information:
Identifiers (e.g., name, email address, telephone number);
Professional or employment-related information (e.g., company or organization);
Internet or other electronic network activity information (e.g., Site usage and device data); and
Other information you provide in communications (message content).
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site.
11.2 Purposes for Collection and Use
We use the categories above for the purposes described in Section 4, including responding to inquiries, evaluating potential engagements and conflicts, administering subscriptions, operating and securing the Site, and complying with legal and professional obligations.
11.3 Selling and Sharing

11.4 California Consumer Requests
Subject to applicable exceptions, California residents may have rights to request access, deletion, and correction of their personal information. To submit a request, email info@jabbarylaw.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” We may require verification before processing your request.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Site and revise the “Last Updated” date above. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
